Lidl has an ongoing commitment to enhance the environmental sustainability of its stores. A range of technology is used in store to minimise energy use, while rapid electric vehicle chargers for two vehicles are provided in the parking area.

Following conversations with local residents, Lidl has revised its plans to better reflect the character of the area. A brick façade has now been incorporated into the design, enhancing its visual appeal. To further improve safety and reduce antisocial behaviour, Lidl now plans to install a vehicle access barrier on the rear service road. Additionally, Lidl has proposed relocating the nearby coach bays on King George V Road away from the proposed car park entrance to enhance site safety and access.
